Today is the NFL Draft and Helmets Off host and former NFL Player Scott Mitchell had to go through it. He describes it as the worst day of his life. Despite the preparation, despite knowing it was the gateway to the NFL, Scott hated it. It was 30 years ago and he still hates it. For some the Draft is an incredibly magical experience, for Scott he felt like it was the biggest mistake of his life. It led to really great things for Scott, but the actual event left him in limbo for years. Scott talks about some of his experiences and other NFL players' experiences with the NFL Draft.
Scott Mitchell takes his helmet off to show you the inside scoop of all kinds of sports from football to even golf. Scott Mitchell is a former NFL quarterback who was a star quarterback at the University of Utah before going on to have a professional career playing with the Miami Dolphins, the Orlando Thunder, the Detroit Lions, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Cincinnati Bengals. Scott also hosts the podcast Rivals with former NFL player Jason Buck.
