Fox News Host Laura Ingraham told NBA superstar LeBron James to "Shut up and dribble." The thing is that athletes are the ones who should probably speak out more. Politics just needs to stay out of sports. Michael Jordan was a player who didn't speak up because he didn't want politics to be a part of sports. Same with Tiger Woods.
Something to think about, is politics affecting the performance of athletes? Are they caring too much about it that it negatively affects their performance? Michael Jordan was always told to speak out because he was a mega superstar but he never wanted to. Most sports fan tune in to sports to watch the games and athletes and not their political views. Voicing it off the field and court is one thing but not during the games.
