If you're a Masters champion, you get a jacket. Patrick Reed apparently loves his jacket so much that he's been wearing it everywhere.
People criticize him for wearing it, saying it's like wearing your letterman jacket after high school.
So is that a fair comparison?
Jordan Spieth wore his jacket around, including a late night talk show.
When Scott was in high school, he wore his lettermans jacket every day. He loved having it.
According to Masters tradition, Reed can only wear the jacket for one year. After that, he can only wear the jacket at Augusta National. Nowhere else.
Playing in the NFL, Scott never wore gear from the teams he played for. The only time he wore team gear was games or practices. Never in public.
Today he may consider wearing his old NFL stuff. But it's different now. He's not in the league.
