Helmets Off

Mar 8, 2018

The Oscar's have come and gone but Scott doesn't watch it because of the snarky political comments that get dropped during speeches and other times during the show.  The big wigs are starting to forget the big reason of why movies and TV shows were successful, because politics were out of it.  People tune into TV shows and attend movies and sporting events to be entertained, not drilled about politics.

Kobe Bryant won an Oscar, which is insane.  He won one for an animated short.  Kobe said that it was a better feeling winning an Oscar than winning an NBA Championship.  The animated short came from an idea based off of a poem that wrote.

Scott has thought about, if he was an actor, which type of movie would he be in?  He thinks he would be in a western movie.  If he won an Oscar, he thinks he would get emotional and forget who to thank.

Phil Mickelson is back in the win column after winning a golf tournament in Mexico.  Glad to see him get back to winning and seeing Tiger Woods competing again.  All is good in golf!

Scott Mitchell takes his helmet off to show you the inside scoop of all kinds of sports from football to even golf. Scott Mitchell is a former NFL quarterback who was a star quarterback at the University of Utah before going on to have a professional career playing with the Miami Dolphins, the Orlando Thunder, the Detroit Lions, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Cincinnati Bengals. Scott also hosts the podcast Rivals with former NFL player Jason Buck.
