It's time to unveil the naughty and the nice list. People from 2017. We start in the NFL and the Commissioner Roger Goodell. He was naughty because of the lack of ratings in the NFL, despite the increase in revenue. He is so inconsistent with the punishments handed to the players. Is he unfair? The other naughty portion with Goodell is how he handled the anthem protests.
Scott goes off on what Burgess Owens said on the show and how he looked at the Commissioners leadership and compared it to former Commissioner Pete Rozelle. But the whole point is that players say they are not protesting the flag but Scott disagrees with that. Scott was upset that his tax dollars were going to congress who were sexually harassing people. Scott didn't want to pay his taxes because they were hushing people up. He wanted to protest. Scott ran this idea through lawyers and they said that he will go to prison and this will not work. Their tip was to find a different way to protest. Just like the NFL players now should do.
The only nice thing that happened to Roger Goodell is that he got a big paycheck and the NFL is making money. Also, the fact that players can celebrate in the end zone.
The next item on the naughty and nice list. Is the Utah Jazz. Sad to see players go in the past. The next one is Gordon Hayward who is naughty. The fact that the team turned the corner when he was an all-star and exciting times were coming in Salt Lake City. Scott thought all along that he would leave. The community loved him and welcomed him with open arms. Scott understands why he left but it broke his heart. But hope is on the horizon with rookie Donovan Mitchell. He could be the next superstar based off of how he is playing in his first season. That made up his naughty and nice list for the Utah Jazz.
The next person on his list is a guy that Scott has mixed feelings about. That is Tom Brady. For 2017, it could have been naughty for almost losing the Super Bowl but when he won it now he is being labeled as the greatest player of all-time. But it is hard to judge that because the rules are different now compared to the old days. The NFL is protecting quarterbacks more now. He is on Scott's naughty list is because he was really bad in the Super Bowl until the end and went from naughty to nice in one game. What he has done is simply remarkable. Brady will likely go down as the greatest of all-time.
Up next is Tiger Woods. Scott would watch him live at some tournaments in Florida. He would draw so many people every single time he was on the golf course. Scott lived near him and watched him fall off of a cliff. He had everything, was going to pass Jack Nicklaus. But the last ten years, has been basically rock bottom. That was the naughty part of the list. But his comeback has put him back on the nice list. After his recent performance in the Bahamas has made Scott very excited to watch him again.
Scott's naughty-naughty list of the year is LaVar Ball. He doesn't realize how bad it was for his son for shoplifting in China. He is very ungrateful for what he has right now. Especially for what the President did for him and now he pulled his two sons from school.
