Newsday published a story about the insane things athletes, specifically fighters and jockeys, do in order to make weight cuts and the extreme risk this puts on their bodies and brain. For some, it has lead to death. Scott reflects on the times he was forced to make weight cuts in the NFL. Scott Mitchell was a record setting quarterback at the University of Utah. After being drafted into the NFL he played for the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
